tyyny tapes is a new tape label existing since the end of february 2010. the thought of releasing albums as old-fashioned tapes instead of cds or vinyl came up already in december, but sometimes ideas need time to be realised. anyway. anne hennies aka tyynyliina, who runs tyyny tapes, will publish zimmer's amazing new album "next places" with seven mind-blowing songs on the 4th of april and it will be limited, oh yes, v-e-r-y limited, because only 25 tapes will be out! so, i guess, you have to be quick. soon you'll see pictures of the cover and the tape itself as well as the pillowcases in which they are going to be sold (tyynyliina has to sew them, but it won't take long). the expected price is not fixed yet, but it will be around 7 or 8 euros. you can order the tapes and they'll be send to you or if you live in berlin, it is also possible to get them in prenzlauer berg or friedrichshain (or mitte or kreuzberg). just write a message here on myspace or to anne_hennies[at]hotmail[dot]com.
tyyny tapes has a mascot since today, by the way. his name is mini drugus and he takes care of the tapes and the pillowcases. don't be afraid, he is kind and trustable. and here is the first pillow, that's only one example, i will sew 25 different cases in different sizes (you can decide which one you want or even give me a fabric you like). so it's comfortable under your head when you listen to zimmer.
