new tyyny tapes release is out in exactly three hours on 26th november!
sredni vashtar has made a really avantgardistic album called ‘r.i.p. conradin’. it’s 40 minutes long and has a climax, wow! listen to the track in the player and you know, what sredni vashtar and conradin is all about. if you like, what you hear, you can order a tape for 10 euros plus shipping costs. there are 26 copies, - so be quick, if you want to have one. :) the special thing about ‘r.i.p. conradin’ is not only the extraordinary sound, but also the cover. mister ernst markus stein made it himself in the serigraphy shop (siebdruckwerkstatt) in dresden and every case is a unicum! plus: there is a special gimmick inside the case and a very very red tape.

27th september: release date of ‘u8’ by maura r.

in september the second tyyny tapes release came out: maura r. made a wonderful album with glockenspiel elements, piano sounds, samples and electronics. it’s all about berlin’s subway u8, that’s why the titles are called p.e. ‘gesundbrunnen’ or ‘kotti’. 20 copies were available, at the moment 6 of them are left, so be quick! if you order a tape, you’ll get a hand-sewn little bag in addition (made by tyynyliina), everything for just 8 euros (plus shipping costs). every owner of the tape gets a temporary download link, so that it is possible to listen to maura r. on the computer or ipod, too.

first tyyny tapes release
this blog is already existing for quite a long time, but i was so busy, i couldn’t remember really i had registered. now everything is much the same, i have to assume, though the first release on tyyny tapes will be out on the 4th of april which is very soon, and i promise, it’s worth waiting for the day when zimmer’s great album “next places” will enter your headphones or whatever you use, you really should go to a fleamarket and buy a walkman, if you don’t have one, or create one yourself, then you can use headphones, you could go to the library and put your head on your new pillowcase, tyynyliina has sewed it for you (either you chose one beforehand or gave her the fabric and instructions how big you want to have it), and you can follow zimmer by opening doors to different places such as gaudystraße (which can be listened to on myspace.com/tyynytapes) or mic’s place (one of the greatest songs he ever composed). more pictures soon, here is the first pillow case:
